The Negotiation Advisory Group GmbH (NAG) is the leading B2B negotiation consultancy in Europe. Our two founders have realised their vision: to support our customers in important and critical negotiations based on the still largely unknown methods of game theory and behavioural economics. With our concept we want to establish a new standard for negotiating in the future. We support our clients in critical and complex negotiation projects in order to achieve the best negotiation result possible. Our 50 international experts have conducted over 2,900 negotiation projects with a volume of over 25 Mrd. €. We are situated in Düsseldorf, Mannheim and Berlin. Our customers include international corporations as well as medium-sized companies.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • As a director you will start directly at the second highest hierarchy level within the NAG and can directly take on content-related and organizational responsibility.
  • In your position you will be independently responsible for customer relationships and further develop them.
  • Together with the project managers who report to you for specific projects, you plan the implementation of our largest complex negotiation and contract award projects and lead your project teams to success through your extensive practical experience.
  • You are responsible for planning and developing game-theoretical negotiation strategies, managing several projects at the same time, and bearing the complete process and result responsibility.
  • Together with your project team you lead the negotiations, consult your clients on complex allocations and transformation projects and you are responsible as face-to-the-customer for the strategy development and quality assurance.
  • With our game theory experts, you shape the game theory and behavioral economics toolbox and method diversity of NAG and therefore develop new products for the needs of our customers.
  • You pursue an entrepreneurial perspective, which enables you to accompany acquisition activities in coordination with the responsible partners or to carry them out independently.
  • You impart your game theory know-how to our customers’ negotiators within the scope of trainings and coachings.
  • Together with the team, you act as a mediator of the latest scientific methods and pursue with us the goal of further establishing game-theoretical ways of thinking in the business world.
  • You will take on internal tasks, drive innovations in processes and structures and thus take responsibility for the further development of NAG.

What you need to succeed:

  • You have at least 10 years of practical experience in game-theoretical negotiation management in industry or consulting and can demonstrate a “track record” with references from several large-volume negotiations in various industries.
  • You know how to lead project and client teams, have a solid expertise in project management and are well versed in modern negotiation methods.
  • You have an abstract way of thinking, and you can quickly comprehend complex issues.
  • You shine with your strong personality, sensibility and service mentality when dealing with customers and possess strong communication skills and a strong team spirit.
  • A high willingness to travel and flexibility are a matter of course for you.
  • Business fluent English and ideally international work experience are part of your resume.
