What Makes a Great Corporate Culture?

At our team event in Hamburg, we discussed exactly this question, inspired by an open and personal talk by Lisa Radke, Senior Director and Head of Global Terminal and Transport Procurement at Hapag-Lloyd AG.

Lisa shared her journey from procurement consulting to industry, her experiences with leadership and difficult decisions, and the importance of having the courage to openly address mistakes. One question in particular stayed with us:

What matters to us in our own corporate culture?

For us, intrinsic motivation is at the heart of it: the personal drive to continuously develop while working together to create maximum value for our clients. We take responsibility and have institutionalized know-how transfer, not because of pressure, but out of genuine conviction and curiosity.

This is exactly what makes conversations like these at team events so valuable: they create space for exchange, new perspectives and continuous development as a team.

Thank you, Lisa, for the inspiring insights and for asking the right questions!
